Great question! Short answer - typically within 4 months for photo deliverables and within 6 months for video deliverables. Our timeframes vary depending on the time of year your event is captured and the deliverables involved. We work in the order of events captured and easily develop backlogs of work in the busy fall season (especially October). In the off-season (typically November-April), we’re able to deliver much more quickly than we are in the busy season when we have back-to-back weddings. We pride ourselves on communication and assure you that we will be in contact with you. You will receive updates as to your number in line and estimated delivery date(s). We may deliver in batches, or all at once, depending on our workload or your requests.
YES! We will send you a requested shot list and you may choose which events you’d like us to capture. You may also choose who you’d like us to highlight in your photos or film. We firmly believe that every couple should have the authority to mold their package to their own story because no story is ever the same.
We edit all of our content on our own! You will never have to worry about your deliverables being created by someone else. We are intentional with creating all of the deliverables ourselves.
Yes! Inevitably, one person cannot be in more than one place at any time. By hiring only one photographer or videographer, you are limiting yourself to one perspective for your entire wedding day. This could mean that you are jeopardizing footage or photos of your family's reactions as you are walking down the aisle, to ensure that we are capturing your spouse's reaction. Also, if you’re getting ready at the same time, in two separate locations, we would be unable to capture both events. While we understand budgetary restrictions, we ALWAYS encourage you to invest in at least two photographers and/or two videographers for any event.
We require a signed Service Agreement (copy available upon request) and a deposit to reserve our services on your requested date. The balance of any package amount remaining will be due on your wedding date (unless otherwise agreed to in your Service Agreement by payment plan).
Yes! Our military discount is 15% for one Partner who is an active duty service member or veteran, or 20% for both Partners who are active duty service members or veterans. The Partner(s) claiming military service must supply us with a copy of his/her/their current military ID or DD214. Our military discount ONLY applies to the couple we are serving.
Timeline assistance is included in some of our packages, but we are always happy to review your timeline with you before finalization. We have attended a ton of weddings and would be more than happy to share what we’ve learned with you about what works, what doesn’t, and where to devote your time.
Yes, but not from social media and surely not those we don’t know or haven’t worked with. Matt is always present at your event with Kenzie if she is able and available. If Kenzie is not available, Matt relies on a small team of second photographers/videographers that we’ve worked with, vetted, and trust. Our editing style aligns closely with those we work with, ensuring that all of our captured content is similar. All the captured content is provided to Matt for final editing and delivery.
Absolutely! If you cannot find a package that meets your needs, reach out and let us know what you’re looking for! We would be more than happy to create a custom package and quote for you! If there’s something you see that we may not offer, tell us what you envision! We may be able to accommodate your request(s).
YES! We do our best to ensure budget isn’t a barrier when booking with us. It is most important to us that you walk away with the memories you’ve been dreaming of as they will outlast everything else from your wedding day. We offer flexible payment plans and deposits (typically 50%) on all of our packages. Let us know what your budget looks like and what you’re thinking in terms of payments. As long as the payment schedule is reasonable, we will work with you!
We ALWAYS recommend that you stay consistent with your photo and video vendors by keeping them within the same company. It is far easier to coordinate 2-4 photographers/videographers when they are accustomed to working with one another and are able to move in unison. In addition, the final deliverables will be similar in editing style as opposed to having different editing perspectives between photo and video. If you’re just not in love with both services provided by one vendor, be sure to hire a different vendor with the same editing style and approach to capturing memories! It is not our recommendation to hire a documentary videographer and an editorial photographer because their directions could clash and could cause confusion on your wedding day!
